An Eventful Week_Part 2

Well, Sophie didn't get better after the Sentosa trip, and this is what she landed up with - a syringe that injects medicine into her hand! (Sigh). She was hospitalised for 5 days (4 nights) for bronchiolitis. It was caused by the RSV virus and also some bacterial infection, so the doctor ordered for strong antibiotics like the one to be injected, and another one to be taken orally. She also had to be on the neubuliser every 4 hours, and with new teeth sprouting out 2 at a time (bottom 3rd and 4th ones), it was not an enjoyable week indeed!

She is feeling much better now, and still on oral medication. Her hand bandages were off the day before she was discharged, and you can see the happiness in her face! What a relief! It must hurt! Her left hand was the one used for IV medicine, and her right hand had to be bandaged to prevent her from scratching out the stuff on her left hand.

Anyway, I'm glad it's all over, and she is being nursed back to health by grandma and grandpa until she is ready to go back to school. Thank you God for a healthy recovery!
